I've worked as an education consultant in various fields after graduating with a master's degree in education sciences. Started off doing development work in Tanzania for the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs as a freelancer, and later wound up as an ICT courseware developer for Shell. After a period of introspection, I decided my life would not be complete if I didn't do more with one of my passions, music. So I went to the US to study with the best teacher I could think of. Upon returning to the Netherlands, I decided the best way to learn more about music would be by playing more. This resulted in my five-year role as professional bass guitarist in a popular cover band.

I'm entering a new phase in my life, as I want to contribute to the wellbeing of the community I live in by working on development related themes in Rotterdam.
